Ahh…Independence Day. A day for celebrating freedom and embracing community. A day for grilling out and spending time with friends. A day for BLOWING THINGS UP! Admit it, blowing things up with fireworks is what you look forward to most.
As such, we thought we’d help you out by rounding up the best Fourth of July Fireworks across the country. No matter where you’re at you’ll find an Independence Day celebration within driving distance (as long as you don’t mind a little road trip).
Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks – Brave

This event boasts 2 days of explosive fun. You’ll experience and impressive air show, live music, and of course some Texas-sized fireworks. This festival is consistently voted one of the best in the country. If you’re able, then get there this 4th of July!
July 4 In Music City — Let Freedom Sing

Fair Saint Louis

Where: Forest Park in St. Louis, Missouri
Self-proclaimed as “America’s Biggest Birthday Party,” we get the feeling these folks know how to party. Sure, they’ve got the live music and great food you’d expect, but be on the lookout for the zip lines running through Lagoon Drive too!
Lights on the Lake
When: July 4th at 9:45PM
Where: Lake Tahoe, Tahoe South
Fireworks + lake = one heck of a good time. Not interested in merely viewing the show from the shore? That’s totally fine, just book a spot on The Tahoe Queen or M.S. Dixie II and watch the explosions in the sky safely from the dock of a paddle-wheeled boat.
It’s tough to only choose 5 Fourth of July fireworks displays, but we’re confident these 5 are some of the best. Do you have a favorite 4th of July celebration? Please share in the comments or on our Facebook page.
