Community Roles

Community roles only work if everyone steps in to do their part and that’s exactly how we want Wiki Reviews to work. Business owners, casual diners, and hardcore foodies, we need you all! Our website will take all of your input to build the perfect resource for local businesses and consumers.

1. Expert Writers

This badge is given to those Contributors who spend the bulk of their time writing full featured category/subcategory descriptions to introduce the community to rich information about any topic.

2. Analyzers

This badge is given to active contributors who report any irregularities or issues with the site and analyze new features to ensure proper testing is done before going live.

3. Category/Listing Creators

This badge is given to those Contributors who research new categories to create, help with template page designs and basic fields required for input in each new category.  They’ll also help with creation of new listings.

4. Police

This badge is given to those Contributors who primarily clean up and rid the site of vandalism and spam to improve the overall experience of the wiki community.

5. Local Business Sub Category Supervisor

7. Regional Business Subcategory Supervisor

These guys oversee a subcategory and are typically hobbyists or are employed in a certain category/subcategory.  They ensure that the subcategory is properly maintained with good information and ensure that the site is in tip top shape and best in class.

8. National Business Category Senior Supervisor

These guys oversee the Regional Business Category Supervisors and are typically hobbyists or are employed in a certain category/subcategory.  They ensure that the category is properly maintained with good information, and ensure that the site is in tip top shape and best in class.

9. Subcategory Supervisor

These guys oversee a subcategory and are typically hobbyists or are employed in a certain category/subcategory.  They ensure that the category is properly maintained with good information, and ensure that the site is in tip top shape and best in class.

10. Category Supervisor

These guys oversee a category and are typically hobbyists or are employed in a certain category.  They ensure that the category is properly maintained with good information and ensure that the site is in tip top shape and best in class.

11. Expert Reviewers

This badge is given to those Contributors who are voted on by the community as people the community thinks are experts in certain fields.  They give very detailed reviews and are very well regarded in the community and their reviews are shown at the top.

12. Fixer Uppers

This badge is given to those people who basically find and fix broken links and provide regular maintenance on the site to ensure it is working smoothly.

13. Contest Creators

This badge is given to those people who find new ways of invigorating life into specific categories by creating contests to increase our listings and site content.

14. Community Voice

These are community promoters that get the word out about WikiReviews, our mission and goals and how we can be of great benefit to the community.  These folks can also write press releases, contact editors and other to get our website out in front of the news media.

15. Policy Writers

People who really enjoy writing policies and guidelines for new areas of the site.  These are community folks who like order and like to see new areas of the site created with solid standards so it can greatly benefit the community.

16. Q&A Supervisors

These folks are responsible for ensuring that Q&A’s on the site are properly listed and are archived/categorized, etc when necessary and incorporated into the listing information when needed.

17. General Administrators

These are the folks who ensure the site keeps running smoothly by resolving disputes, merging listings, helping with dispute resolutions, helping with Mediation & Arbitration.

18. WikiReview Administrators

These are people internally at WikiReviews that are made as Admins.

As you can see, there are many ways to get involved with Wikireviews.com. We’re looking for passionate individuals to take on one (or many) roles. We need dedicated consumers who want to share valuable information about products and businesses to their peers. What do you say? What role will you take on!?
