An algorithm used for architecture – just like your business relies on google’s algorithm to build structure for your business.

Wiki Reviews feature no hidden algorhythms, just community-driven trust.

Automotive News has a recent article that discusses how many auto dealers had inadvertently sidestepped a potentially damaging situation when Google retooled its reviews algorhythms towards the end of the year.

The story discusses one dealership in particular who had 11 reviews culled when Google changed how they measured things and tried to eradicate phony or biased reviews.  The dealership didn’t even notice, because they had put their faith in a different review site.

What the dealership fails to understand, however, is that they are potenitally in the same situation.  Most commercial websites do not disclose how they aggregate or rate.  With wiki reviews, we do just that.  The community sets the standards, creates further granularity and search structure, and uses community moderators to prevent fraudulent reviews.

One of the biggest differences with our site is that users have their own reviews!  The internet is indeed an anonymous place; and many of the issues with current review sites is that there is no accountability to an individual’s reviews.  However, at wikireviews.com, each user will have his or her own rating, which moderators and other users can review.

Here’s how it works:  If I go to a restaurant and see a review for that restaurant written by another wikireview.com user, if I find what the person wrote was factual, I can add to their trusted rating.  So with the site, you’ll be able to filter reviews by trusted ratings (Show me all reviews for restaurants with five stars in taste, and with trusted ratings of 80% or higher).

What other review site can give you that granularity, truly delivering the information you want at your fingertips, when you want it?
